I just received the sad news that Kerry Jennings Cooper's father passed away last night from a heart attack.  

According to Kerry, he went quickly.
 
She is in a bit of a fog right right but said that he was able to see all of his grandchildren in the past few weeks 
and was in a good place in his life.  Funeral arrangements are pending.
